SA Great rev1 Panoramic Paving

In 2008 the company was bought by John McMichael who has had over 30 years of experience in the Civil Industry. He has worked on some of South Australia’s iconic projects with a cumulative value in excess of $280 million dollars as the Civil / Remediation manager of Tier 1 and 2 companies. T & J Constructions have recently been working for a more diverse set of clients ranging from government organisations and local councils to corporate developers.

John has built a strong and loyal team developing both the Corporate and Labour management aspects of the company. Construction Manager Andrew Cameron and Supervisors Malcolm Cox, Dylan Hiscock, Regan Armstrong, Mark Whaites, Paul Abbott and Stuart Gigg bring with them a strong Civil Background having worked for large Tier 1 civil companies where they worked on larger projects before joining T & J Constructions to develop their leadership and operational skills. Charles Hatcher our contract manager brings strong contract and risk management skills from a diverse corporate career.

T & J Constructions have a flexible workforce of around 55 construction professionals with capacity to cover a wide range of projects. T & J Constructions Human Resource policy ensures high quality staff are employed and retained. From a financial perspective T & J Constructions has a history of trading that is cash flow positive. Acquiring new and updating existing plant has also been a focus of the company.

The strategic direction of the company will see T & J Constructions continue to specialise in small to medium projects across all sectors of the industry. Almost exclusively, T & J Constructions use in-house plant and labour to minimise the use of subcontractors. We have found that completing all aspects of the job using internal labour and plant improves quality, decreases costs and time delays, ensures single point accountability and ultimately increases client satisfaction.
